This is a 1201st boiler we have installed in Richmond area. The difficulty this time was creating the space between the flue outlet and building opening which we managed by moving the boiler slightly towards the left. Providing the waste pipe for the boiler to safely dispose condense wasn’t easy. The nearest waste pipe was near to 10 meters away therefore 1.1/2″ insulated pipe had to run alongside of the building. Luckily it didn’t disturb the owner since there was no chance to create soak-away. Having the boiler in the garage gave us plenty of flexibility when it came to positioning the unit and pipework. However the downside of using this location means the boiler will turn itself on every time the temperature goes below 5 degree to prevent the pipes from freezing.
